Emerald Senses was born from this experience. Kayleigh founded the practice to support organizations navigating transition, uncertainty, or growth—moments when clarity matters most. They bring a holistic approach that integrates people, finance, and operations, helping teams understand their financial reality, plan for the future, and build the stability needed to carry their mission forward. Their work is especially grounded in supporting organizations facing leadership changes, environmental and political pressures, and rapidly shifting technological landscapes.



Kayleigh’s commitment to equity and access has shaped every chapter of their career. Their academic work—spanning law, social justice, and nonprofit administration—reflects a long‑standing dedication to communities historically excluded from power. Their graduate capstone, published on communication access for deaf and hard of hearing individuals in prison, deepened this commitment and continues to influence their approach to leadership and systems design.

Volunteerism has always been a throughline. Kayleigh’s work with HEARD, a national all‑volunteer organization advocating for deaf, hard of hearing, and disabled people who are incarcerated, sparked a lifelong dedication to service. Today, they continue to serve on nonprofit boards with a focus on ASL access, compliance, and building strong, sustainable financial infrastructure.
